Legislative Service: General Assembly 2016-present

Assemblyman Howarth was elected to the Assembly in 2015. He graduated from Trenton State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical Education & Drivers Education.

Joe Howarth is a Para-professional in the Special Education Department at Seneca High School. Joe's job is providing in-class support for students with multiple disabilities.

In May of 2009, Howarth was elected to Evesham Township Council, during his time he served as Deputy Mayor. In November 2011 Joe was elected to the Freeholder Board.

Howarth has always been actively involved in the community especially working with youth organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Marlton Rec Advisory Council, and several theatre groups affiliated with Cherokee High School, as well as having served on the Marlton PTA and Evesham Twp. School Board.

Howarth and his wife, Dr Maria Lania-Howarth, have three delightful children, Nicole, and twins Andrew and Gabrielle.
